Compatibility

Please note that Projects and models saved in version 11.5.1 cannot be opened in older versions of Lumion. That also includes V11.0 and updates through to V11.3.1.

Layers:

Imported models are no longer replaced with some other models in a users' Project when the models were in a Layer that was hidden.

Re-Importing of edges/lines for models that supported the import of edges such as SketchUp now works again.
Models imported in the FBX format are now correctly double-sided by default.
Using '_safemode' when importing FBX files no longer causes Lumion to crash.
FBX models will no longer be merged when Re-Importing from New File.
Some models in the .3ds format can now be imported correctly.
Lumion now includes further tests to locate textures for models that might be in other folders than those usually expected.

The Global Illumination for a Spotlight is no longer rendered if the Spotlight was on a hidden Layer and there was at least one Spotlight visible in the Scene.

The original Displacement Map is now used again when removing a custom Displacement Map for Lumion Library Materials that have a Displacement Map.

Other Fixes:

Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur if the third thumbnail was clicked on in the News & Learning - Welcome to Lumion 11 screen.
